Interior design falls under that too, and AyA's selection of colours, styles and accessories is where a lot of those decisions get made. Scope varies between projects. Every kitchen is made to order, so the cabinetry is built to whatever the room needs.
Which areas do you cover?
Our service area runs from Peterborough out through Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton and Cobourg, plus the surrounding areas. The showroom is in Peterborough, and the consultation happens at your home. What makes a kitchen custom rather than stock?
We build every AyA kitchen from scratch to your specifications rather than assembling it out of stock parts. Our 150,000 square foot facility runs what the industry calls mass customization, which means cabinetry sized for your room at a price that comes from manufacturing at scale. Stock cabinets are produced in fixed width increments, and a wall is rarely an exact multiple of those increments, so the leftover space gets closed with filler pieces. Cabinetry built to your measurements needs less of that. It also means the door style, finish and hardware come from AyA's own range of colours, styles and accessories.
Do you handle bathrooms and laundry rooms too?
Yes, along with countertops anywhere in the house. Running the bathroom and the kitchen as one kitchen and bath remodel keeps cabinetry, countertops and finishes consistent between them, since everything gets specified together and made to order in the same facility.
What does a kitchen remodel cost in Peterborough?

On warranty: five years on cabinet construction, two years on doors, finishes and surface hardware, and lifetime coverage on drawer glides and hinges.
